But we promised participants to make the outcomes available as soon as possible and additionally hope the results may help inform the organisation of future workshops. Therefore this page provides access to the raw unedited outcomes from the workshop.
Straw Poll
This was the first exercise where workshop particpants were asked to express where they stood on a continuum between a series of paired issues.
Discussion groups

Issues in the training of teachers and trainers
Participants were asked to identify opportunities, barriers and drivers in the training of tecahers and trainers. They were then asked to group these issues into the following categories:
- important and urgent
- important and not urgent
- not important and urgent
- not important and not urgent
Policy development
Participants worked on identifying what we want from the research community and form policy makers and planners.
