The Team
The workshops are being organised by a consortium led by the Institut Technik und Bildung at the University of Bremen in Germany and Pontydysgu in Wales.
ITB is involved in a wide range of research and development projects on a regional, national and international level and works closely with industry and VET institutions. Research activities include learning and teaching methods, curriculum development and the professionalisation of VET professionals in companies and vocational training schools, innovation, HRD and regional development, information technologies and competence and work and career guidance.
Pontydysgu (‘The Bridge to Learning’) is an independent research institute based in Wales. This is typically linked to new activities and pedagogies based on Information and Communication technologies in education and training. Another focus has been on the continuing professional development of trainers and communities of practice.
