Welcome to the consultation seminars web site. The site is supporting a European funded looking at the training and practice of VET teachers and trainers.

Over the next five months the the project will be organising six workshops, each bringing together practitioners and experts from 3-6 different countries to discuss research, practice and policy in the training and practice of VET teachers and trainers. Part of each workshop will focus on findings, conclusions and recommendations of previous work in this area but there will also be a focus on identifying and addressing new topics and major issues of concern.

The workshops are open to policy makers, researchers, experts and practitioners. Translation will be provided as necessary to ensure that local experts and practitioners can participate in their national languages and the project will pay all the costs of those attending. One major objective is to involve participant who are not typically involved at international level discussion forums. If you would be interested in attending a workshop, pleaser find the relevant workshop for your country and email the organiser.

The web site will also be used to provide access to the results fo the different workshops and as time progesses we hope it will become a useful resource to all those interested in this issue.
